It was a really serious questions and it was also the reality. We were always feeling good with everything about beauty. Sometimes I think we were all blinded, because we didn't really think about the consequences. McDonalds was making a lot of money based on those unhealthy food. People went to there don't care about the taste, because it was the fast food and it was convenient. All of us should be know that fast food was really awlful to our bodies. I think the company leaders and the media should pay attentions to thoes commercial. They also have the responsibility to control this kind of messages and may quit that easily if they has consciences. Afeter we watched TV, we can see those people was snobbish. They said news were what they said. What kind of situation do they involved? We all know that Fox news was always said that news should be fair and balance. Nevertheless, they were the one who lies to this slogan. They also afraid to lose money on advertisements. I think they also have the responsibility to control the messages in the commercial.

There were millions of merchants were pursuit profits without justice. Isn't all this happened just because there were a lot of competitions outside and numbers of people unemployment? I think I am snobbish because I do choose the products based on their company first. Well, sometimes I will considering the quality. There were also a lot of imitated brands. However, there was a real rule in my heart, which was if the products were coming from those famous companies, the quality, brand and other serious things were absolutely true. Advertisements also has formitable power that can shake my mind easily. Usually I got these informations from advertisements. If they said it pretty good or those pictures were beautiful, I will change my mind quickly. I also compared the other companies' ads together and choose one more gorgeous. Actually I didn't care to much about the prices, because I thought a product's quality was depended on the prices. Friend's opinions were very important to me. It also credible because they might tried it before. I believed that all they recommended were better than others.

In our society, everyone have their own right. They can do everything limited by the constitutions. Whenever we were watching TV, listening to radio or surfing the Internet. They all said that children were new hopes, they were the stars for tomorrow. Redarding at those points, should the goverment restrict the obesity of those pornography? I think they did need to take the actions around this article. It may become a serious problem. It related to children's innocent and their intense curiosity. Some families might have some kind of strict traditions or hildbound cultures. They will be shame by their kids. It should be very sensitive while their children has some bright habits. It could be a huge pity if they will meet someone they love deeply after they lost their virginity. It can also caused a great impact between families and brought some unneccessary problems to their lives. In the other way to consider this question, I think it may have a better side. That is they can learn more knowledges about sex and may analylize the standard. If they are sensitive, they can prevent or slove this problem easily. They also have better realize on those diseases transformed. In my own opinions, it just liked the world, have dawn and dark.

5. How do you feel about music videos now that we read the story about women being objectified so much?

Right now, our standard level is moving up. Almost everyone is throw out those feodal traditions. We cannot always standing by one situation, we need to consider all the angles of this question. The world is improving everyday and our minds are changing everyday too. We cannot always focus on one point, otherwise we are not going to move up. We have our own rights to pursuit everything we want, everything is about those beautiful, fabulous,gorgerous things around us. I don't think those women singers really has indecent side. It just inside of the small box. It doesn't mean anything outside, it's not the reality. They made those video just followed what people need. I didn't care about what they showed in the music video, it didn't represent their own characteristics. I thought what they acted in their music video cannot observe on their decents. I also wonder how come those men can do that, and nobody critisize them. It was unfair. Everyone just say the same slogan, like we need to treat everyone fairly. However, Nobody fulfil this rule. We need to open our versions and accept those changes on women. Nevertheless, I did think they can influence teenagers easily. Teenagers didn't think so much, all they pursuited were cool and fashion staffs. We should not felt guity when they were playing in their videoes. To looked at the other side, they are hard workers. The only fact I can say is when all the new things starts, their ending is miserable. After a while, they will accept it and it will getting popular. It just a normal thing, we cannot dig a huge hole. It just fine, nothing special.

Internet has became a huge market place in 21st century. As long as we are focusing about this kind of situation, most producers will thinking lots of new ideas to attracting our minds. They are also creating a number of home websites. For one survoy that Mr. Rosenburg gave it to us several weeks ago, I knew that only 30 percent of Internet users knows what is blog. In my own opinion, I think blog is redandunt. I didn't use that too often, so I may consider myself was part of those thirty. I think I don't like blogs because it's not very useful, it didn't expand every where. Blog is also a bald website. They don't have music can help us to release fatigues. They don't have any entertainments we can pursuits. They also don't have some novels or interesting matters we can watches. Blog didn't have a real thing to grab my version, I thought that was hundrum. The last thing I don't like blogs because we cannot chat with our friends. Whenever we talk to our friends, everything around us will getting better. Laugh can make us feel like we are close to each other, we are not alone anymore. I thought that important in our lives. However, blogs did have an expedient side. First, that was fabulous to use it to do our homeworks. To me, it just killed two birds in one stone. We also improved our typing speed while we were doing homeworks. Computer skill is the requirements while we are studying. It may helps us on that. Second, whenever we felt very depressed or happy. We can publish it and share our santations. There is no one knows you, so you can said it freely. You don't need to worry about someone will leak your secrets. It is cool. It helps us to clean up those poisions in our bodies and share our happiness. Third, I also think it really can help us to improving our composition level. The advantage of blog is you can publish it. Maybe you met someone was really adopt at writing. They will give you their comments. You can helping each other to move up the ladder. That was the effectual way to attain your goals.

1. Do you use the media as much as you did at the beginning of this class?

I think media is indispensability in my daily lives. If one day there was a law declare that everyone should be standing back from media. The only result of my ending is death, for exactly is my fastidium force me not to consider anything about alive. Of course, that was more exaggerated. Nevertheless, media was important as oxygen in my world. We were new immigrants to United States, there were a myriad of situations we connot handle it. Everyday we are following tension rhythms, we cannot be slow down. Otherwise we will be kicking out of this machine-made game. However, where have a funny place serves us a relax time? We don't have money to pay our trips every time. Media may helps us to save some money. We didn't spend as much money as we involving in a journal. Obviously I am advocating use media. To be honest, I use it everyday. Some of those TV shows can bring fun to you and that is free. While we are laughing together, that means we are releasing our pressures. My computer is opening for 24 hours a day, and that was most of my friends do to. We also listening radio when we are driving a car, so it was not that stuffy. My uncle usually listened hocky with my cousin in the car. They also has different expressions on their faces, I thought that was interesting by looking at them. Internet can shorten our distance while we were chatting. I also can saw my family members and my friends through the WebCam. I don't know how can I survive when I first time came to this new country. My tears will flooding over me. News was a reflection of our society and the outside world around us, it was expedient. As long as it's all about reality. Most likely I did use media a lot, and I cannot imagine how much isn't. I will keep using it, because it was a new communication skill, that is just the way use to be!

Actually I did not watch TV for a while, because I had the computer right now. I think TV is redundant. I can watching news in the computer and download movies. There also have a lot of advertisements in the internet. Neverless, I did enjoying watch TV. There were so many channels we can choose, a number of repertoires we can watch. Last year, I lived with uncle. That was very boring, fortunatly I can spend some of my times on TV. I think I spent thirty hours or more in front of TV. Most of the time I was eating in front of the TV shows. I love to do that, even if my mom always said that didn't healthy. My cousin liked to do the same thing with me. That was our habit. Sometimes I was talking to my family members while I was watching TV shows. We were dicussing the roles in the shows, that was funny. We also can related to some of other people, they may have the same characteristics or something similar at outside of their bodies. 1. What is the stupidest thing you have done? Share the details. How did it affect you? Did it affect others as well? How often do you do something stupid?

Spring break was a great time for resting, it also a great opportunity for fun. Most of us might traveling out of town with their faimilies or friends. Of course, we may meet some stupid things or done something stupid. I mean come on, that was as normal as eating ot sleeping. I remembered the most stupidest thing that I was suffering. There was one day that I came out with friends to singing K. After that, we were all happy and we had an idea to go to another place. One of my friend said that she heard there was a beer bar just opened for teenagers. She also emphasizing there was no police checking. All of us felt very exciting because we never attend that kind of area before. This novelty idea was attracting us deeply. When we reached there, we cannot found that place. We also walked up two streets, then we realized we went to the wrong direction. We were almost despair when we were searching it. Finally, I saw a signboard it wrote the same thing that we were finding. We were extremely excited and we sceaming over the street. Neverless, when we was standing under the signboard. I can saw it wrote clearly, "Janpanese noodle." Oh, my God! I mean what the hell was that. We were finding it in spite of cold and dark. Although we were quivering like three falling leaves, we were still keeping look at that. The result was suprising us a lot. If hisroty can re-play, I am not going to do this kind of stupid thing again. It showed how innocent of those teenagers. They never think about the negatives, they just want to have some fun. I think I did those stupid things regularity. I was wondering why, because I cannot quit to do that. It was werid, just like inside of my body went wrong. It lost control. I did believe they were a myriad of kids like us outside of the world. It was a good question, we should be participate about concern what is the baseline of stupid. In my mind, I think "Freedom of Speech" is whatever you say is not against the law. You can cursing anyone or admire someone, they are not doing to put you into jail. I think it should be protected by the consititution, because our status are not stable at same level. Some powerful people may think that everyone should be respect on them. If our speeches doesn't ensure by law, we may worry about that. Those higher classes all have a good relationship. Money and power always depends on each other. Despite what other people thinks, I think we cannot always curse people even if we have this right. If you want to have a healthy relationships with somebody, we need to trust ot respect them. We need to used it correctly to prevent any unnecessary troubles. Those rights kept us in a safe place and decrease some damages. We also need to respect to our constitutions, they gave us the goods to protect our own personal staffs.

3. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves at least five minutes a day of pure, unadulterated egocentricity. That means that you say a lot of good things about yourself. If you can't say something nice about you, who can? Taking a positive self inventory of oneself is not only ok, it's down right important to one's survival. Please take the time, and about a half page to write some really nice things about yourself. What do you like about you? How well do you do something? Pat yourself on the back and get writing.

I have never consider about this kind of question before. Maybe that's because I am also wondering who am I, what kind of person am I, do I play a great role in my life than may influence other people? Sometimes I think that I was an inconsistent girl, because I didn't care too much things. If I am thinking about those good personality about myself, the main point that I think it's I always sympatheze thoes seniors. Whenever I saw someone who was old and poor, I think that was miserable. I was trying to do my best to help them, even if I just donated a little money. I felt satisfied, otherwise I will be sad. The other way that I am thinking about is my family has an important status in my heart. I love them pretty much. Whatever I am doing, I always consider them first. If I have a job, I was thinking I may give my salary to my mother and my little brother in China. I thought my mother was lonely in China, I don't want her to worry about me. I want her to have a wonderful senectitude. I am not sure how well I am doing a thing, but I always try my best to complete it. If I have an aim, I will never giving up. 2. Many people in the news media seem to think that the blog is going to replace the newspaper as the number one source for read news. What are the pros and cons of this happening? What advice would you give someone who is interested in getting news information from a credible source?

In some cases, it's not a worse way to do that. Although there were not as many people knew blogs, it will works anyway. Newspaper's main intension was giving informations to people. There are a myriad of people was using Internet, so that might be a convenient way to post news on blogs. It also introduces some people to realize blogs' real functions. I think there may have a company or any groups of people has monopoly about this. At least it have to be protect by laws. Internet is a free place to express your rights, it also has become a huge market place. Some spiteful people may use this source to make money. It could be one of the cons part about this idea. I think the pros part is people can use their leisure time by reading news on blogs. They can also post their opinions, what do they thinks about this news, any new ideas may help it to make better. They also can have some discussions on there. Some ideas may be acceptable and keep this source in a safe way. People can use it securely, they doesn't need to worry about anything will destroying it. Their cooperation is very important and they need to make sure that their personal benefits are safe. They also cannot attack on other's articles. To consider all the angles of this problem, those events were what I can focus on so far.

I believe that television commercials have got to go. Let us pay directly for what we enjoy on television rather than pass the spiritual cost on to our children and their children." I am agree with this great writer. In our real life, we cannot request to have all the best things, it was impossible. Televisions were the small screens, but it was refecting the whole world. We were also spending lots of money on television commercials. I don't know isn't worth it or not, after you knew the news were not telling the truth anymore. If it didn't concern about reality, do we still have to pay for it? If it was cheating us, do we still think that it was necessary for us to know what was happening around us? Those little kids were learning things right now, we have to give them a fair model. We want to enjoy on television and make sure our children were getting educations. We are part of our country, we have right to know exactly about economic, politics, military, etc. We are not going to consider about those television commercials, it was too much. We can see those things anywhere. If we want that, we will go directly to the stores. We just want something valuable. We don't want to waste our times and money to watch television commercials.

I think those blogs were such a great thing for same of wirters or someone who would like to share his/her ideas with us. You can say whatever you want in blogs, no one are going to block any opinions you were expressing. Blogs were looking like a mirror. It was reflecting everything that people have in their personal life or the problems they had. They can be complaint, acclaim, or curses on the blogs. It was a free place to talk, no one will put you into the gail because you were cussing someone. Right now, everyone was using MSN or ICQ. They were chatting on line with their friends. I usually do some shopping for new clothes. Summer will coming soon, there are so many stores was already selling the shorts. Even if I have a lot short clothes at home, I also want to own the new one. I did not see any advertisements to buy any clothes. It just bases on what I need. There are also have a few clothes stores that I always went to. I am not sure about why, maybe those clothes are suitable for me. Girls always love to have new clothes, because they love to be pretty. The other reason may be my friends' recommendations. I was thinking about other people's point of views. Sometimes my friends were persuading me to buy something. Despite what they were thinking, if I think that was nice and I will buy it. To be honest, sometimes other people's waring was attracting me a lot. Then I want to have it just to satisfy my desire. Music was a wonderful thing in my life. Whenever I felt boring, insomnia, or fall into troubles; music was always a perfect remedy for me. I love to listening music more than doing other activities. 5. In your groups, you went over the survey results. What can you say immediately about the results? Yes, I know "these people suck. They don't follow directions." That's not what i mean. I'm talking about the actual results. What can you say about movie habits among Balboa High School students?

We did the survey for several weeks, it was all about movies. We also shared our survey results on Wednesday. Obviously there were lots of fourtheen kids were taking our surveys. They most favorite movie was The Lord of The Ring. One of my friends also said that she liked this film pretty much. They all enjoyed stay in theather and watched the film. Most of them like movies very much, there was no one said not much or not at all. They also like to brough their own food to the movies. I love to do that too, sometimes food can keeps my mind on the movie. We were also talking about advetisements in class before. It is important and we can see it everywhere. There were 41 students from Balboa saids that was influenced them to saw a movie. I think that is ture, because it can attracting us quickly. What qualities do you look for in a television show? How many episodes will you watch before you decide you've had enough and this show isn't worth your time? What is the best part of your favorite show? Is it the actors, the story line, what else? Do your parents watch your favorite shows with you? Do they talk to you about what you watch? Have they ever?

I love comedy movies, it brings too much joys for me. Actually I didn't care so much about the episodes about the movies. Most of the times I was watching those pictures and some of the brief instructions. I didn't consider too much about the movie will worth that prices and my times. Watching a movie can make me relax and enjoy it can make me feel like everything is nice. I think the actors were playing an important role for me. usually I watched a movie that depends who was the actor. If my favorite actor of the actor that I knew, I will watching that movie first for sure. In my mind, I think a good actor who was already famous is always bringing us the best movie. I don't know why I have think kind of idea, but I really think so. Maybe it is my prejudice. If the famous actors were playing in the movie, it was always have the higher qualities. It was also worth the prices for sure. I watch my favorite show with my parents two years ago in China. It was the action film. During the movie time, I was so enjoying it and kept my mind on it. When those actors were flying or survive after they got shoot by an arow. My parents always said, " It is fake. Nothing is interesting." " Let's change the channel, I want to watch the news. Go to your room and do your homework." " Looked at that actor, he doesn't know how to act in the movie!"
Ok, I mean that is it. They were not in my age, they don't know what we are chasing in the new century. My favorite show can't match them very well. When they were watching a movie, which I think was boring too. Maybe I shoud look for another way to change their minds.

I have a job in Saturday. I was working in a Chinese restaurant and I am a waitress. I was listening to the phones and wrote down what they were ordering. I also need to serving those people in the restaurant. When I have leisure time, I need to folds those sheets about the advertisements of our restaurant. I am suppose to save my monies in my pocket, but the truth is always opposite. Girls always loves to shppoing, including me. Most of the time, I spent my money on food, make up, clothes, snacks and the internet, telephone's bills. If I have enough money to afford the products on my list, I would like to buy more clothes and adornments. Some of the adornments are very pretty, even if it is not useful. I will buy it to make my room or clothes looks more beautiful.

I am contacting with media everydays. Internet is necessary in my daily life. I used it to chatting with my friends and keeping in touch with them. Websites was a great places to search the informations that we wants. I never listen to the radio, internet was tempting me easily. They have more informations to cover and it showes lots of advertisements. It was all the fashion products and it did not lasted for a long time. Sometimes was puffery and tried to entice us to buy it. Most of the time, it is about sexual. It did send the messages to us, but it was not truthful all the time. When we were watching news, it did not always focused on the truth all the time. For example, like the Iraq war. The media was hiding something to keep up morale and protect the govenment. They wanted us to feel safe.

This week we were continuine working on our project, which was making our own flim. Actually, this idea was ordinary. I also have this case before several times, but I never hiding and chasing with a security before. This is a film, so I think sometimes it should have illusions add in it. It makes the story more interesting and we people can enjoying it. I think working in a group is better than individual, because we can have more ideas coming from. We were sharing concepts and selected the better one. It can make our film more perfectly and we can improving it everytime when we have new ideas coming out. We need to think about their expression and actions. Then we can discuss it easily and change out script as soon as possible. We need to have three minutes film, so I may concern to add some more details to complete this film. We did not do well on SFX so we also need to look at this part and correct it. I think this film is funny but it was also hard to playing in a school while we were all having classes. I may suggest that it can located at the first floor and around the cafeteria. It might be better place. All in all, I love this film and everyone can easily understand waht was happening. They also have this kind of experiences before, so they can realize this situation quickly.

A film script can either be an original idea that comes straight from your head, or you can adapt a story from a book, short story, song, etc. Many famous movies come from adaptations of books (e.g. The Godfather). If you could adapt a pre-written story into a screenplay, what would you use and why? Describe the book, short story, song, etc and how it would make a good movie.

I am reading a novel named Like Water For Chocolate . I think that was good idea to make a movie about this novel. It was the first book written about food and perhaps everyone were reading it already. This book was magical realism, so it was really interesting. If we use the real perople to play about this novel, it might be more lifelikeness. Tita was the third dauther of Mama Elena. She was a poor girl because her mom was very autocratic. There have a rule in this family is the smallest girl in the family have to take care of their mother until she died. She have a fiance name Pedro, but her mom saids he can only merry with the first dauther. In parent's eyes, everything is about money. So they made their own tradition which is about the ranch. They wanted to bulid up their power and they did not think about Tita's feeling anymore. I think this can be a great source to make a movie. When they were getting merry, I can play a very sentimental song. It can depends on how do Tits thinks and what did she do. Tita was a nice girl and kitchen was her paradise, so I may focus on kitchen. Maybe in that merriage night, she can spend whole night stayed in kitchen and played her sausages into different animals.

Jacky Chen was coming from China anf he was a successful actor. Every movies that he attended were almost action movies, but it always looked like comedy movies. I love to watching his movies, because he has his own body language. He always using his body and expression to describe an alive role. He was very important because he brought lots of joys to us. He was great contributor to filmdom and he was working very hard. He was a guy of many accomplishments. His KongFu was really nice and I love to see that. I am very proud of him, because when you were acting in a movie. At least you will get hurt once, but he never complaint and give up. He always doing his best to bring a wonderful movie for us. 3. You are about to give a survey to your fellow classmates at Balboa high school about movies. Their answers will help you make your movie the most enjoyable that it can be. What FIVE questions will you ask them, and what answer choices will they have?

Though this whole week, we were talking about create our own movies and working on our survey questions. A great movie can bring us a lot of fun, almost all people loves to watch movies. It is a wonderful choice that we can make in our leisure time. If I am giving my classmates a survey, I would like to ask, " What kind of movies do you prefer?" It was the most important questions that I was thinking. Actually war movies were least enjoyable, so I may give them these answer choices: dracula; comedy; affectional; mystery; others. The second question could be " Where do you prefer to watch a movie?" When I am watching a movie, I would like to staying in a comfortable situation. The answer choices are movie theather; home; friend's house; car; others. The following question could be: " What kind of endings do you experct?" I will giving some spaces for them to answer this question. I want them to be specific, usually every movies all have the similar endings. That is the good guy always won at the last and they were the heros all the time. I want to have some endings are shocking and surprise them. The last two questions can be: " Do you will go over those old movies that you think it is interesting?" The answer is yes or no. " How many times do you watching movie per month?" This answer could be: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, or more. It can give me a overall impression that shows go to a movie is fantastic.

Most of us were having the researching experiences. I think all of them should know the important place to find out the informations. Library and internet are the best choices at anytime. It is important to site our sources. Library have plenty books and we can consult reference books in there. It was a great idea also because we can look up for thoes books a long time ago. We can have our own ideas from these books and we can get the messages for sure. Internet is a fantastic place too. We don't need to wasting our time and we can share thoes analysis with billions of people. It have the newest informations. We will have efficiently results for what we are researching for. We will not losing any point looking at these importan places. We can get difference ideas from lots of people. I think it is very important to site out sources because we can really receive thoes messages. The other thing is thoes informations that we got were very useful.

I think I will having my body as a billboard, because it sounds very interesting to have this kine of expriences. If I can, I want it to have this special part to get in my memory. Tottoo is pretty, so I may allow them to give me the temperarily tottoo. I don't like thoes tattoo stay on the body for a long time, because it hurts our skin. For thoes ornaments, I would like the advertisers just paste some beautiful tattoo. Thoes tattoo can fits their topic and I can wash it if I want to. I am thinking about the bellybutton part. All of my friends loves to have tattoo around that areas. If we are slim and we love to show to people. It is a great place to put tattoo on. I think I will considering it is the important part. I never think about thoes billboard. If I can choose, I love to make a short ad. Maybe the maximum time will be three minutes. It is a really hard work to do, I am not good at body languages. Thoes things were the things I think it should be easy to do and good for me.

If I am creating a survey, I would like know something about fashion and shopping. It was a great deal. Right now, everyone are pursuing material enjoyable. Most people wants to make up theyself, they want to be beautiful. What makes them have more requests? It's fashion. People want to be popular, even know thoes fashion products comes easy and goes easy. When people have leisure time, holidays coming, needs, send to other people as gifts, etc. They all have to do some shopping. Shopping can spend your time and you are satisfied about your new products. We people love to standing in the front and enjoying new products. This message give me a wonderful idea. I want to ask some question about this topic. "What do you get from shopping?" "How many times do you shopping per week?" "How many money did you spend when you were shopping?" I love shopping, although sometimes I don't need to buy something. I just want to look at what is new. I enjoying to do that with friends, so I want to ask these three questions.

In century 21st, computers are very important to our daily life. Everything is intending to electronic. I used computer everydays at home. Of course, internet is necessary for me. Internet is like a treasury. We can searching any informations that we want for our subjects. I think internet is attracting me easily. Usually, I am going to get those messages from the internet instead of looking from the textbook. It is absolutly a direct way to reach destination, it is very useful foe me. It also spend me a long time on it. I think the internet do affect my attention span. For example, sometimes when I was looking for some information about World War One on the internet. If they advertising something are interesting and unique, I will go to ther for a while. It waste my time to do it on the internet, but I can not refuse it. It is tempting me a lot.

When we are talking about shopping on the internet, there are many people will shaking theri heads. Some of them will say to be careful, because they believed that was fake. It just used to cheat people's money. I never do some shopping on the internet, but my friend did. His name is Jack. He always searching something from http://phone.ebay.com.cn/. Jack also bought lots of things from this website. He recommended to me and said this website was relly great all the time. I knew he bought computer, webcam, etc. from there. My father's friend also looking for a car from the internet, and he decided to buy it right now. Both of them all said that was wonderful. They got those products from there were cheaper than outside, they also wrapped it very carefully and mailed to them. Those products were new, the quality was the same as the real one. I don't think Jack ask his parents permission to do that. If he have money by himself, then he can buy whatever he wants. I think that was fantastic. From his experiences, we can see even we shopping from the internet. We also can buy something we want, it is in lower peice and we get exactly the same thing. I do have to mention one point, that is if you are interest buying things from the internet. You need to buy it in some famous websites, that ensure if you did not get it, they can pay for it. It is a great deal to shopping on the internet, I may going to try it.
